PSD staff member Connie Whitehead, seated, assists a Hilton Head Island High School student with her utility bill payment during the school's "Reality Store" day on Feb. 16. Students were given occupations and incomes based on their g.p.a., and then had to visit each of the 20-plus local businesses on hand to pay for items like groceries, insurance, child care, and -- of course -- water!
